Ah, navy looks so fresh to me right now! And what better way to wear navy than to pair it with coral! I love it. This would make the perfect work ensemble. I would schedule a happy hour or dinner immediately after work just so that I could continue to wear this great outfit all evening. The accessories are perfect and versatile. The shrunken blazer is so flattering and smart. What’s not to love?

Every year when spring rolls around, I start the hunt for a perfect white dress. To me, nice weather and white dresses go hand in hand. I think this year, I’ll begin my search at my favorite vintage shops. MK is providing me with lots of inspiration.

Sometimes I run out of inspiration and I sit staring at my closet, mouth agape, thinking I have nothing to wear. At such times, I try to remember that often its just the basic elements of my wardrobe that I really need to focus on. Seeing photos like this one of MK remind me that simple is often the very, very best. I don’t even know exactly what it is about this shot that always leaves me inspired. I think it’s probably just that the fit of each piece is SO spot on. This is how I want to look right now.

Balmain did acid wash so well this season. I’ve been mildly obsessed with the look ever since. I’m still on the lookout for the perfect pair of acid wash jeans. I’m thinking I may have to just roll up my sleeves and do these myself. I bought a ridiculously ugly denim bag recently and gave it a good dousing with bleach. It turn out really cool and looked even better once I started adding studs to it. I think I may have to go the same route with a pair of cheap medium wash skinnies. That or I could shell out 160 bones for these marbled and studded jeans at Topshop.

Online magazines are so amazing! What better way to take a little break during the day. Thanks to Lauren at Magpie Mania, I’ve been introduced to Antler Magazine. The online mag is super easy to peruse and it’s full of great interviews. Reading it lead me to some amazing Etsy shops and websites. Make sure you check it out, and check out Magpie Mania as well.

If winter weather insists on making a come back, the only thing that can console me is donning a pair of perfectly skinny leather pants.

Yeah!! I’m so excited to see Kate’s new collection for Topshop. It launches April 02 and it’s her 9th collabo with the retailer! I can’t believe there have been that many. Click to see the announcement.

Nicole Richie was spotted at a Unicef event this week looking hippie fabulous as usual. Richie is expecting a second child, though you can hardly tell it in this dress. I love the dress and I especially like the way she accessorized with the studded arm band. It’s being reported that Nicole will launch her own maternity line in the not too distant future. Her jewelry line, Harlow 1960, is available now.

I have to be honest, I never in a million years would have pegged Reese Witherspoon to wear this Rodarte dress. She looks adorable in it, I’m just shocked at this edgy choice from her! I secretly wonder if she only chose it because she thought it would fit the theme of the movie she’s promoting. I mean, it is pretty space age-y. I like that she paired it with these gray and yellow Balenciaga peep toes. I’m not crazy about her super safe hair with this dress, but it’s not awful.
I’d previously noted that Matthew Williamson is doing a capsule collection for H&M. It’s set to launch on April 23. Some new pics of the pieces involved are starting to emerge:

I’m loving the maxi dress and the brilliant blue pieces.
