Chloe Sevigny was pictured wearing a head-to-toe look from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2009 collection. She was hosting a New Year’s Eve party in Miami. The look is fun for a party, especially in Miami. She’s got great stems and can definitely pull off an abbreviated mini. These shoes are killer. I can’t wait to see which celebs pop up wearing them in the coming months.
I can’t get this song from Kings of Leon out of my head. Take a five minute work break and watch the video. His voice is so beautiful and haunting. Enjoy.
Hi!! I’m back. It was weird being away from the blog for so long, but I had a nice break.
I’m still feeling pretty festive even though the holidays are technically over. This photo inspires me to try something that I normally wouldn’t, like sparkly tights. I really kind of thought these could only look good on 12-year-olds, but I think Zoe pulls this off. She looks festive and chic.
Jennifer Connelly strikes again! She is so beautiful and she rocks this Givenchy Spring 2009 dress at the Japan premier of The Day The Earth Stood Still. Who says black has to be boring?!
Look at the hair and the back of the dress! Yowza lady!
And uh, don’t forget the shoes and those killer stems. This chick is workin it.
Rachel Bilson and Nicole Richie were both looking pretty fab at the D&G flagship opening in LA on December 15.
Bilson looked casually chic in her D&G sequin blazer. I like that she paired this with basic jeans and a T.
Nicole Richie continued her winning streak. She looked great in all black. If you’re going to do all black, follow Richie’s lead and make sure you have some textural variation and great proportions to keep things interesting.
I just wanted to post a couple of pics for your Friday afternoon viewing pleasure!
Agyness Deyn went to a Christmas party recently wearing a huge faux fur coat, pink sheath from the Giles Spring 2009 collection and Christian Louboutin buckle heels. I like that she went a little over the top. It’s a holiday party for heavens sake! Live a little people!
I can go either way on a lot of Rihanna’s looks, but I always respect that she takes chances and has her own look. It’s refreshing to see a pop star who is unafraid to cut her hair so short wear a onesie! I like this look and I am totally in lust with her Burberry spiked necklace.
Like half of the universe, I saw Twilight in the theater recently. Although I haven’t read the books, I enjoyed the movie a lot. I really like Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed who were both in the film, obvs. Kristen Stewart always brings a certain edge to her look. She looked pretty fab at a Paris photocall in Camilla and Marc. The dress is killer and I like her unkempt hair. The makeup is fresh and light, which suits her. My only beef is with the shoes. I think the t-strap is too uptight for the look.
I love, love, love this chic sophisticated day time look that Nicole Richie is sporting in these photos. This is the ultimate girl on the go look. Ok, I know some of you are saying that you’d never run around town in high-heeled Christian Louboutin boots, but you could easily switch these boots for a chic, knee-high flat boot.
That jacket is pretty great though with all of the amazing details. The knit hat, scarf and glasses add a great finish to the look.
This was the Balmain dress that set the interwebs abuzz when it debuted during fashion week.
It comes as no surprise that Sarah Jessica Parker should have it and wear it so well. I can’t say I’m digging her hair here, but the dress is so fab. I like that she took this Spring collection dress and made it work for chilly climes with the tights and those amazing Pierre Hardy for Balenciaga futuristic, metallic booties.
I think this picture perfectly exemplifies why Victoria Beckham is so polarizing. I mean, you kind of have to either love or hate this. She is just so VERY. Pixie cut, GINORMOUS fur coat, itty-bitty short little black dress, legs for miles and stiletto Louboutin booties. Seriously!! This outfit is no joke. The girl can accessorize - did you think I was referring to the hardware bedazzled clutch? No, no. I meant the man candy. He sure can hang a suit.
Apparently Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley are totally BFF now. They appeared on the red carpet at the British Independent Spirit Awards last weekend for their movie Slumdog Millionaire. The two looked fantastic in their darkly-hued designer dresses. Sienna wore a dress with paillettes at the sleeves and side detail from Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 collection. Keira wore a high neck gothic lace Balenciaga dress.
I love these two. Each has a unique style and they are both so beautiful. I love both of their choices here.
